I graduated with my degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Southern California. Prior to this, I received my bachelor’s from Occidental College. I worked in the Student Health Center at West Los Angeles College, supporting students through a range of presenting problems, and then spent four years at a group private practice in Torrance.
As a clinician, I work from a humanistic/client-centered approach, prioritizing the therapeutic relationship and fostering a warm, non-judgmental space. My practice also borrows elements from cognitive and narrative therapy, which means that I help clients understand and challenge patterns of thinking that aren’t serving them, and deliberately craft stories about themselves that do.
